About Us
I am a Chaoshan native, and here, tea has been an integral part of our lives since childhood. It’s more than just a drink—it’s a tradition deeply woven into our daily routines. However, I didn’t fully appreciate tea’s significance until I embarked on my career.
As life became busier and more challenging, I found solace in preparing and drinking tea. It became a way to carve out moments of peace amidst the chaos. Over time, I realized that these moments—brewing tea with intention and savoring it mindfully—helped me center myself and regain focus.
My journey into tea deepened as I began to explore its rich heritage. Along the way, I made friends and met mentors who guided me, introducing me to the wonders of tea. I learned about the history of rock tea, the complexities of aged Pu’er, the artistry of Jingdezhen ceramics, and so much more. Asia’s tea culture is truly extraordinary, and I am deeply grateful to everyone who has shared their knowledge and passion with me.
In 2024, I felt inspired to bring Chaoshan’s unique tea culture to a wider audience online. Many of my friends had never tasted the exquisite Chaoshan Dancong tea. For some, particularly among the older generation of overseas Chinese, it brought back memories of its mellow and sweet flavors. I also wanted to showcase the Zen-like essence of the tea ceremony, with its ancient teapots, elegant tribute cups, classic teacup sets, and even small tea snacks. Tea, after all, is about connection—sitting together, sharing stories, and enjoying the moment.
Encouraged by friends who often told me how much joy my tea brought them, I launched an Instagram account to share the beauty and depth of tea culture with the world.
Thank you for visiting my page and joining me in celebrating the long, rich, and healthy history of tea!
Warm regards,
